Dr. Theodore Homa is a practicing physician, seasoned history buff and an avid science fiction enthusiast. Among his favorite themes are time travel, the unknown and places of unique historical interest. Travels throughout Europe have provided opportunity to complement his particular theological and philosophical areas of interest. After a long medical career devoted to his practice and consecutive weeks without free weekends, a health related calamity struck leaving him unable to work for an extended time period.. Utilizing serendipitous time on his hands, he turned to inner creative talents and began to explore the world of writing fiction. Writing has always been an ultimate background career goal. After a year at the word processor in his suburban Chicago area penthouse, and his summer home on Cape Cod and with the continual support of his wife and dedicated friends, he completed his first literary work, “Archimedes Claw”. Currently, Dr.Homa continues the writer’s journey busily embarking on his follow up novel.

Just thought I’d drop a line and say Howdy! How AWESOME to find a fellow doctor writer! Although I went the PhD route (Alzheimer’s research) rather than the MD route! I, too, am a lover of scifi and time travel! Also fascinated with space and all the wonders it holds!

I just finished you book and enjoyed it greatly.
My sister-in-law, Sarah got it for me as a Christmas present because you reminded her of my late father, Norm, who was also a physician.
After reading it I see why.
My favorite parts were the initial battle in Syracuse, developement of the time machine, traveling to Christ’s Tomb (that was scary and nearly made me cry) and of course: The rules for time travel. Also, there was a lot of good action in it as well.
Some parts were too sentimental or am I just a jaded individual?

I once herd a story of how the US goverment toyed with time traval and phased a battle ship or something during The Manhattan project, guys were phasing though the ship and crazy stuff. One guy jumped overboard durring the chaos and travaled 2 days into the past, he also landed in a desert somewhere else in the world.
